He holds a PhD in Biological Sciences (Biomedical) from Herminio Ometto University Center (1982), a Masters in Biological Sciences (Biology / Genetics) from the University of São Paulo (1987), PhD in Biological Sciences (Biology / Genetics) Paulo (1995), Free Teaching in Medical Genetics from Universidade Estadual Paulista (2007) and Post-Doctorate at the National Institute of Deafness and Orthes Communications Disorders (NFDCD) -United States. He is currently Adjunct Professor III of the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho. He has experience in the field of Human and Medical Genetics, with emphasis in the areas of Genetic Counseling, Molecular Genetics, Cytogenetics and Cytogeomics, working mainly on the following topics: macrosomies, phonogenetics, Williams-Beuren Syndrome and Smith-Magenis syndrome. Develops projects in partnerships with several national public genetics services and National Institutes of Health (USA), Greenwood Genetic Center (USA), National Center for Medical Genetics - Buenos Aires (Argentina).
