Materials Engineer by the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) in Brazil, with MSc and PhD by the same institution in Materials Science and Engineering. Worked for 10 years in the research center of Villares Metals (Brazilian branch of Böhler-Uddeholm group), as head of research for product and process developments in tool steels and high speed steels. In the first semester of 2011, was a Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), being part of experiments developed at the Center for Nanoscale Systems - CNS - Harvard University. At the time, also acted as collaborating professor at the MSc course in Industrial Engineering at University "Nove de Julho" in São Paulo, Brazil. Between 2012 and 2014 worked as Director of Technology and Marketing at Villares Metals, then for 5 years as Technical Consultant for CBMM North America. Currently, is Head of Technology at CBMM and Director at CBMM Suisse Technology. Experience in Materials Engineering and Metallurgy, formerly in Special Steels (Heat Treatment, Electron Microscopy, Mechanical Properties and Failure Analysis) and more recently in Microalloyed Steels (alloy design, processing, properties and application). Managing experience in conducting a team for application of technologies optimizing innovation and financial results. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
