The line of research includes assessing renewable energy resources using numerical modeling and remote sensing, climate and energy interaction, and atmospheric aerosols. Coordinates and/or integrates research projects in collaboration with national and international research institutions such as UNIFEI, UFAL, University of Oldenburg and University of Hannover, Catholic University of Chile, University of the Republic (URU), CIEMAT, and UNEP. He is currently a reviewer for national and international periodicals such as Solar Energy, Energy Policy, Renewable Energy, Science of Total Environment, Revista Brasileira de Meteorologia, among others.
