Full Professor of Cell and Tissue Biology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB), University of São Paulo (USP). TZ has been Vice-Dean of the ICB (1995-1998) and also Provost of for Undergraduate Studies of the USP (2010-2013). TZ is Visiting Research Fellow of the School of Medicine, Shinshu University, Japan and Honorific Visiting Professor of the Universidad de Valparaiso, Chile. TZ has the Merit Fellowship from the National Research Council (CNPq), Brazil. TZ is member of the Academy of Science of São Paulo State, Brazil, since 2008. TZ has authored 100 full articles published in international journal indexed in the ISI and has contributed in 06 book in the field of Cell and tissue Biology; Electron Microscopy, Radioautography and Animal Reproduction, including the Classic Basic Histology (Junqueira & Carneiro (The Mc Graw-Hill Companies Inc. 11 ed). The article decidualization and Implantation (j. Exp. Zool, 266, 1993) was distinguished by ISI as a Citation Classic of 90 ' years. TZ have been given more than 40 conferences as invited guest in several national and international meetings.
