International Lecturer and Consultant in the area of Clinical and Experimental Research in Photobiomodulation and Electrophysical Agents in Aesthetic Sciences and Musculoskeletal Diseases. He has experience in the Technological Innovation Center and was a member of the Board of the Jacareí Business Incubator. He participated in the elaboration of the NIT of 2 Universities. He serves as Scientific and Innovation Coordinator in the field of scientific equipment for Health and Aesthetics. Coordinator of the Master in Biomedical Engineering at UNIVAP (2018-2020). Director of the Center for Technological Research and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Mogi das Cruzes - UMC from 2015 to 2017. Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1991), Master in Pharmacology from State University of Campinas (1994) and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1998). He completed his Post-Doctorate at the University of São Paulo. Full Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at UNICAMP. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Bergen (Norway) and at the Bergen University College-Norway, Department of Public Health and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, where he maintains intense scientific collaboration since 2004. He was Professor at the University of São Paulo in 2005 -2015. He is also Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lorraine (France) at Biopolo. He has experience in Biomedical Engineering, with an emphasis on Low Power Laser in Medicine, acting on the following topics: low power laser in musculoskeletal inflammatory diseases, fatigue and muscle performance and tissue repair. He also works with the pathophysiology and pharmacology of musculoskeletal, joint and rheumatic inflammatory diseases, fatigue and skeletal muscle injuries in different situations such as diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, among others. He was the founder and Director of the Graduate Program in Biophotonics Applied to Health Sciences at Universidade Nove de Julho. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
