Thoracic radiologist (holder of the European Diploma in Thoracic Imaging - ESTI/ESR), associate professor (full professor - MS-5.1) of the Bauru Medicine course at the University of São Paulo. Undergraduate, medical residency and postgraduate studies at USP in Ribeirão Preto, with a fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta (USA) and post-doctorate at the University of Heidelberg (Germany). He was an assistant physician at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - USP (HCFMRP-USP) from 2008 to 2022, and a professor at the Foundation for Support to Teaching, Research and Assistance (FAEPA) at HCFMRP-USP from 2016 to 2022. He was also coordinator of the Medical Residency Program in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at HCFMRP-USP from 2014 to 2022 and chief physician at the Center for Imaging Sciences and Medical Physics in the same period. He is currently scientific coordinator of the Education and Introduction to Research Course at the São Paulo Society of Radiology (SPR), coordinator of the Teaching, Improvement and Medical Residency Committee at the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR) and member of the scientific committee of the Society's Pathology department. Brazilian Association of Pulmonology and Phthisiology. He is currently also a member of the Coordinating Committee of the Medicine Course at USP in Bauru and the doctor responsible for the technical department of the Center for Radiology and Biomedical Images at Hospital das Clínicas de Bauru.
