Research Productivity CNPq-2. Founding member of the (N.ELAC - IAU.USP) Research Support Center - Language studies in architecture and city. Institutional Management: Director of the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of USP (2020-2024) and Member of the Postgraduate Committee of PPGEAU - IAU-USP (2018-2020) and Chairman of the Research Committee (2013) -2015). Ad hoc advisor of FAPESP and CNPq. Member of the Editorial Board of Revista Risco - Journal of Research in Architecture and Urbanism-USP. Education: Post-Doctorate in 2014, held by Politecnico de Milano, guided by prof. Dr. Daniele Vitale with Fapesp Research Fellowship The work was titled: The drawings in the "four books" by Andrea Palladio; Free Teaching in 2008 with the title: "The texts of Palladio"; PhD in 1999 at FAU-USP with the guidance of Prof. Lucrecia D'lessio Ferrara. Master's degree completed in 1993 and developed in the Postgraduate Program of the Department of Architecture and Urbanism with prof. Marcos Sampaio as advisor. Architect and Urbanist by FAU / PUC-Campinas 1985. Together with N.ELAC - IAU.USP he developed research in partnership with the University of Porto-Portugal and more recently with Politecnico di Milano. Guest lecturer at the Politecnico di Milano in the Dipartimento di Architettura e Studi Urbani (2022/2023 e (2014/2015). Partnerships that result in the exchange of teachers who participate in our researches but also of the didactic activities next to the Graduation and Post Graduation of our Institute. Author of articles and essays on architecture and the question of design. From the thesis of Free Teaching resulted in the direct coordination of the first translation into Portuguese of the treatise of Andrea Palladio of 1570: The Four Books of Architecture of Andrea Palladio - São Paulo, Hucitec 2009 and the curation and organization of an international special room, dedicated to the villages of Andrea Palladio for the VII International Architecture Biennial of São Paulo. Has experience in the area of Project and History of Architecture and Urbanism, with emphasis on the question of the means of representation and the project methodologies; working mainly on the following themes: architectural treatises; architecture of Andrea Palladio; design methodologies and architecture design.
