Graduated in Biological Sciences, Medical Modality, Doctorate in Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology at the Federal University of São Paulo - EPM and at Institut Cochin-INSERM, Paris. Post-Doctorate at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). She is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology at the Federal University of São Paulo-EPM and head of the Immunology Discipline.
