Researcher of Chinese socioculture, the situation of the Portuguese language and the languages of inheritance. PQ researcher with the study project on the lexicon of Macao Portuguese. Full Professor and Researcher at FFLCH at the University of São Paulo. Post-doctorate at the University of Macau (China, 2010-2011, with CAPES scholarship), Research Internship in 2015-2016, with FAPESP scholarship, at the University of Macau. PhD from Unicamp (guidance by Maria Luiza Braga) in Theoretical Linguistics (Historical Linguistics, with qualifications in Anthropological and Sociolinguistic Linguistics), Master from USP (guidance by Angela Rodrigues) in Philology and Portuguese Language, with CNPq scholarship. Specialist in Grammar, graduated in Letters-English and Letters-French. Master in Neuroscience (Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes - IAEU - Spain) in 2016. Visiting professor at Universidad de la Republica (Uruguay) in 2010, at the University of Foreign Studies in Sichuan (2015) and at Universitè de Lille (France) in 2019 Studying cognition and language themes, among which attention and perception via syntactic constructions and principles. He has also devoted himself to investigating the relationship between evolution of grammatical complexity and cognitive factors. Collaborated with Fraulein de Paula (IP-USP) in a Universal project on verbal fluency and with Ana Luisa Naves (Santa Casa de São Paulo). Develops projects on Portuguese as a language of heritage and interculturality. He supervises scientific initiation, master's, doctoral and postdoctoral studies. CNPq Researcher Level 2 [Process: 313640 / 2014-9]. Leader of the research group "Language and Cognition" with outstanding production in the study of the relations between linguistic uses and cognitive processes. He is a member of the multinational Research Group "LP no Mundo". Associate of the Linguistic Society of America, of the Brazilian Linguistic Association, of AOTP and of the International Association of Portuguese Linguistics, of which she is second secretary since 2010 (from 2010-2014 with management in Macao SAR-China) and in second term as first secretary since 2015 (from 2015-2019 with management in Portugal). Until 2017, she was principal researcher at the FAPESP Thematic Project "History of Portuguese Paulista" in the sub-project History of São Paulo Portuguese (2006-2015), with relevant production in the area. She works as a researcher in the interdisciplinary study group on the role of the occipital region in congenital blind people, in partnership with the Luiz Braille Institute and the IF-SP.
