Bachelor's from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2002), master's in Physic from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2004) and doctorate in Physics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2009). My international experience was obtained by performing experiments at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, France in 2006 and at the NIST Center for Neutron Research in Gaithersburg, USA in 2009. I have worked as a post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Chicago performing Angular Resolved Photo Emission Spectroscopy (ARPES) experiments at the Synchrotron Radiation Center (SRC) in Wisconsin and X-ray absorption, X-ray magnetic scattering and XMCD techniques at the Advanced Photon Source (APS) at the Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago. Presently I am an assistant professor at the Gleb Wataghin Physics Institute of the University of Campinas. Has experience in materials synthesis and macroscopic characterization, high pressure cells and diamond anvil cells, and advanced X-ray and neutrons techniques in large scale facilities. My research interest are in Strong Correlated Electron Systems, as heavy fermions superconductors and the newly discovered Fe pnictides superconductors. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
