Adalgisa Rodrigues de Andrade has a degree in Chemistry (Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters at Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, USP, 1980 (BS)), a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the Chemistry Institute at São Carlos, USP (1988) and she was a Postdoctoral Fellow (University of Aarhus, DK, 1994-1995) where she worked with electrosynthesis and fast cyclic voltammetry (KV) methods using microelectrodes, later in collaboration with the University University of Poitiers, France, 2000, developed research in a direct alcohol fuel cell. more recently, in another pos-doc period researchers in biofuel cell devices at the University of Saint Louis, USA, 2009. She is a Full Professor at the University of São Paulo at the Chemistry Department. Dr. De Andrade?s research in different areas of electrochemistry mainly in Environmental Electrochemistry preparing electrode materials and performing degradation of different waste compounds. Her recent work is in the field of energy production with fuel cells and biofuel cells working mainly on the anode side oxidizing alcohols and degradation of herbicides and dyes. She has authored over 100 publications and two patents, nine book chapters, and delivered many lectures. She concluded the guidance of graduate students, master's degree, and Ph.D. students and supervised Post-doctoral fellows. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
