Graduated in History from the University of São Paulo (1989), Master in Archeology from the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo (1995), working with Punic numismatics, and Ph.D. in Archeology from the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo (2001), working with Berber numismatics (North African, Numidian and Moorish). She completed her post-doctoral studies in the area of Spatial Archeology (research on North African Numidian social organization), between 2002 and 2006, at the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo, with an internship at the Center Camille Julian, of the Université de Provence , in Aix-en-Provence, France. He worked on the excavation team of the Joukowsky Institute for Archeology & the Ancient World, Brown University, in Corfu, Greece, between 1996 and 1999 and was field supervisor in the excavations of the Roman-castrejo site of Tongobriga, in Portugal, between 2004 and 2005, also organized by Brown University. She is currently Associate professor in Classical Archeology at the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo, professor of the postgraduate course in Archeology at MAE-USP and coordinator of the Laboratory of Studies on the Ancient City (Labeca-MAE/USP) with Professor Beatriz Florenzano. She is editor-in-chief of the Journal of the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo. President of the Graduation Commission of MAE-USP. Vice-president of the Culture and Extension Commission of MAE-USP. Full member of the Postgraduate Commission of MAE-USP. She is the chief editor of the Journal of the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology at the University of São Paulo. CNPq Productivity Scholarship - Level 2. Leader of the CNPq Ancient Numismatics Research Group. She has experience in the area of Archeology, with an emphasis on Historical Archeology, working mainly on the following subjects: Phoenician-Punic Archeology, Carthage, Berber North Africa, Ancient Numismatics, Iconography and Space and Landscape Archeology.
