He was Visiting Associate at the Duke University, School of Medicine, Durham, North Carolina, U.S., during his PhD program. He has experience in Cardiovascular Physiology and Pharmacology, studying the mechanisms involved on reactive oxygen species production and nitric oxide bioavailibility on hypertension and sepsis.
