Post-doctoral fellow in University of California at San Diego, School of Medicine, Endocrinology Session, in the group of Professor Jerrold M. Olefsky, 1986-1988. Currently, full professor at Universidade de São Paulo (since 2008). Has experience in Endocrine Physiology, particularly on the following subjects: adipose tissue physiology, metabolic adaptations of the AT to exercise, AT and diabetes mellitus, AT developmente during puberty, pineal gland and AT interactions, hypercortisolism and AT, AT in insulin resistance, obesity and metabolism.
