Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Química (IQ) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
Graduated in chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 20113. Master's degree (2006) and a Ph.D. (2010) in Chemistry from the same institution. Experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on physicochemical, working mainly on the following topics: rheology, interfaces, emulsions and petroleum. Experience in several calorimetric techniques such as: DSC, isoperibolic (ampoule breaking) and isothermal (calorimetric titration, batch, flow-through and mix-flow), as well as pendant drop tensiometry and rheology. Experience in the development of software in a Labview environment with focus on automation (control, acquisition and data processing). In 2008, he received a prize for Technological Innovation, offered by the Innovation Agency of UNICAMP (INOVA), for the development of an isothermal calorimeter of batch. In 2010 he received the award for one of the best works presented in the Physical Chemistry section of the 33rd Annual Meeting of the SBQ. Between 2011 and 2013 he held his post-doctorate at UNIFEI (FAPEMIG) in the area of electrostatic coalescence of water / oil emulsions, where he acquired experience in rheology of petroleum emulsions. He is currently a researcher at CEPETRO / UNICAMP in the line of emulsions, rheology and interfaces, focusing on the understanding of the macroscopic characteristics on the macroscopic properties of oils.
