Jônatas Bussador do Amaral

He holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista and a PhD in Cellular and Tissue Biology from the University of São Paulo. He works as a Biologist at the Otorhinolaryngology Research Laboratory, ORL-CCP/Federal University of São Paulo. He has experience in the study of tumor cell biology, mainly in the development of 3-dimensional cell cultures. He has important works that explore different types of microscopy, reconstruction and 3D animations. Within the field of Otorhinolaryngology, he develops cell culture models for studies related to tensegrity, interactions between cell and extracellular matrix and inflammatory processes. He is currently developing in his post-doctoral studies related to Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss, evaluating the role of viral reactivation, inflammation and cellular immunity in the progression of this disease.
