Graduated in Meteorology from the Federal University of Pelotas (2003), master's degree in Meteorology by the National Institute for Space Research (2006) and a PhD in Meteorology by the National Institute for Space Research (2014). He was a visiting researcher at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (2010). He worked as a meteorologist in the Group Climate Weather Weather Forecast and Climate Studies Center of the National Institute for Space Research 2010-2014, which coordinated from 2013 to 2014. She was a professor of the Department of Environmental Engineering, Institute of Science and Technology Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho", and teaching the disciplines of Environmental Pollution, Climatology and Statistics. She is currently a researcher at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), working with numerical modeling with emphasis on the study of the role of atmospheric aerosols in the numerical weather predictions of the CPTEC global model. She is a member of the Working Group on Numerical Experimentation of the World Meteorological Organization and a member of the Editorial Board of the World Weather Research Program newsletter.
