Graduated in philosophy from Unesp (2004), master in philosophy from UFSCar (2008) and doctor of philosophy from USP (2012). He is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). During his training, he did a sandwich PhD internship at the University of Trier / Germany with a grant from Cnpq / DAAD and a postdoctoral fellow at USP with a scholarship from Fapesp. In 2019, he did a postdoctoral internship at Freie Universität in Berlin with a DAAD scholarship around Walter Benjamin's philosophy of history. He is currently a visiting professor at Humboldt Universität in Berlin, with a PRINT / CAPES scholarship and a researcher at Walter Benjamin-Archiv Berlin. He translated philosophical works from German, such as Adorno, Fichte and Hölderlin. His area of expertise is concentrated in the history of modern and contemporary philosophy and in aesthetics, mainly in the German philosophy of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
