Born in Boa Esperança do Sul - SP. Graduate at Materials Engineering (DEMa) from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1998), master's at Material Science and Engineering from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2000) and Ph.D. at Materials Science and Engineering at Universidade Federal de São Carlos - PPG-CEM/UFSCar (2004). Sandwich Ph.D at University of Florida (UF), FL - USA (2003). Post-Doc (2005) in Beta-Ti alloys at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Dema/FEM/UNICAMP). During this year (2016) realized another Post-Doc at Universitat Politénica de Valencia (UPV) - Spain (BPE-FAPESP grant) and active as a visiting professor at UPV since 2011. Associate Professor of DEMa/UFSCar since 2018. CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship (PQ-2) since 2011, advisor to Masters and Doctoral students as Permanent Professor registered at UFSCar's PPG-CEM, CAPES grade 7 in five consecutive evaluations. From 2006 to 2010 worked as a Materials Engineer at the Electron Microscopy Laboratory (LME) of the former National Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS), currently the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (LNNano/CNPEM). Has experience of around 20 years in Electron Microscopy and Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, acting on the following subjects: amorphous phase, spray forming, Fe and Al-based Amorphous and Nanocrystalline Alloys, Microestrutural Characterization and Overspray Powder. Electron Microscopy including: Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) conventional and Field Emission Gun (SEM-FEG), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) conventional and High Resolution (HRTEM), Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), Electron Backscattered Diffraction (EBSD), Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (EELS), Energy Filtered TEM (EFTEM) and Spectral Imaging (SI) usign EDS and EELS. Currently has research projects from funding agencies of CNPq, CAPES, FAPESP and the Ministry of Economics and Competitiveness of Spain (MINECO). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
