Member of the Brazilian and American Societies of Agricultural Engineering (SBEA / ASABE). President of the ESALQ Agreements Committee. Full Member of the Congregation, Research Committee, Postgraduate Committee and Department Council of ESALQ. Total of 100 orientations already completed, 61 orientations at Postgraduate level: 31 Doctors, 30 Masters, 4 Post-Doctors and 35 undergraduate orientations in Scientific Initiation (IC); It totals 204 scientific articles published in international and national peer-reviewed journals and 276 scientific works presented at Congresses and Symposiums. Currently supervising 4 students in the USP Postgraduate Program (4 D / 0 M) in Agricultural Systems Engineering and 2 undergraduate students in Agricultural Engineering: TCC and Scientific Initiation. CURRENT LINES OF RESEARCH: a) Irrigation System Sizing Software: IRRICAD, IRRIPRO and EPANET, b) Algorithms for irrigation management via soil sensors and climatological water balance, c) Water Use Efficiency in Irrigated Agriculture and d) Sugarcane Energy - Bioenergy production in rainfed x irrigated systems (PITE Project - FAPESP). INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: a) University of Nebraska - Lincoln UNL USA / Department of Biological Systems Engineering, and b) Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute. MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS: 1) Introduced the Digital Puncture Tensiometer in Brazil; 2) Creator of the "Multi-User Dripper Clogging Test Bench" at the ESALQ Irrigation Laboratory; 3) Leader of the "USP Laboratory of Water Use Efficiency in Irrigated Agriculture".
