Graduated in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1995), Master in Animal Science and Pastures from Universidade de São Paulo (1998) and PhD in Sciences - Ecology and Natural Resources from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2005). Post-doctorate at the University of Aveiro, Portugal (2011). She worked as a Scientific Researcher at the Central Experimental Center of the Instituto Biológico, São Paulo Agency for Agribusiness Technology / Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (APTA / SAA). She currently works as a consultant in the area of aquatic ecotoxicology and risk assessment studies, with an emphasis on contamination of fish by pesticide mixtures, through short and long term exposure studies and quantification of biochemical exposure biomarkers.
