She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1983), a Master's in Immunology from the University of São Paulo (1986) and a PhD in Immunology from the University of São Paulo in 1991. She is currently a Level VI Scientific Researcher at the Butantan Institute and full advisor at the University of São Paulo in the Department of Immunology. He published 51 complete articles, supervised 6 Master's dissertations and 3 PhD. She has experience in the field of Cellular Immunology and Immunogenetics, working mainly on the following subjects: Activation of macrophages, genetically selected mice, Inflammation, Cytokines, TNF, Tcruzi Infection, Animal poisons and toxins (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
