Graduation in Chemistry at USP-Faculdade de Filosofia Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto (1996); master and PhD in Chemistry at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2000 and 2004 respectively). Worked for 9 years as a consultant in analytical chemistry (chromatography and mass spectrometry). Has experience in Natural Products; ; Environmental and Forensic Chemistry; Food; Pharmaceutical drugs (Bioequivalence); Proteomics; Metabolomics; Microbiology (bacteria and fungi); Extraction and purification technics for organic compounds; Plant Biotechnology (micropropagation); Molecular Biology (DNA clone, PCR, immunofluorescence); Biological tests in human cells; Method Validation according to Brazilian legislation. In 2008 wrote together with the psychologist Nila Mara Pereira the science fiction book "Mister Uni e o Incrível Mundo Microscópico" for kids to demystify the chemistry, diffuse some basic concepts and motivate children for this science. Nowadays works with science diffusion editing the website www.misteruni.com.br and developing the "Mister Uni Project" through events production in public places or private institutions.
