Adjunct Professor at the Department of Biochemistry at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2005-2008). Currently, Full Professor at the Institute of Marine Sciences at the Federal University of Ceará. Member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) since 2010. Main research interests include peptides and pharmacologically active proteins from marine and terrestrial organisms; cell receptors and their ligands; molecular interaction; recombinant DNA technology; molecular diagnosis and its inputs; intracellular targeting and compartmentalization of polypeptides.
