Graduate at Agronomic Engeneering from Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" of Universidade de São Paulo (1992), MSc and PhD at Agronomy (Phytopatholgy) from ESALQ/Universidade de São Paulo (1996 and 2000). Since 2000, works at Fund for Citrus Protection (Fundecitrus) as Scientific Researcher. Coordenator of Professional Master on Citrus Disease and Pest Control at Fundecitrus, (2013-2016), where has been Professor and Adviser since 2009. Coordenator of Phytopathology Area of Fundecitrus since 2017. Has expertise in Agronomy, focusing on Phytopathology, acting on the following subjects: Epidemiology and Control of Citrus Diseases. Citrus cultural practices such as planting spacing, pruning and use of canopy and rootstock combinations can affect the primary dispersal of citrus psyllid into the orchard and the primary inoculation of huanglongbing bacteria.
