Heitor Marques Honório

Heitor Marques Honório is a Dentist graduated from the Bauru School of Dentistry - USP (1999). He completed his master's degree (2003) and Ph.D. (2006) in Pediatric Dentistry, both from the Bauru School of Dentistry - USP. In 2022, he completed an MBA in Data Science and Analytics at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, University of São Paulo (ESALQ-USP). He served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Clinical and Surgery (Pediatric Dentistry Discipline) at the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG) for four years, from 2006 to 2010.Currently, he holds the position of Associate Professor 3 in Full-Time Dedication to Teaching and Research in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Public Health (Research Methodology and Statistics Discipline) at the Bauru School of Dentistry - USP. He is involved in undergraduate programs in Dentistry, Speech Therapy, and Medicine, and is a Full Professor in the Graduate Program in Applied Dental Sciences at FOB-USP.He is responsible for Extension Courses in Biostatistics at the University of São Paulo's Cultural and Extension Pro-Rectorate. He serves as the Vice-Mayor of the Bauru Campus of the University of São Paulo, Vice-President of the Campus USP-Bauru Management Council, and Representative of the faculty in the Campus USP-Bauru Management Council. He is a Substitute Member of the Congregation of FOB-USP, a Full Member of the Department Council of Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Public Health at FOB-USP, and a Member and Vice-President of the Undergraduate Committee at FOB-USP.Currently, he is a member of the Advisory and Fiscal Council of the Brazilian Society for Dental Research (SBPqO) and a member of the Board of Trustees of FUNBEO (Bauru Foundation for Dental Studies). He serves as a reviewer for various scientific journals, as an ad-hoc assessor for the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).He is the author of the books "Fundamentals of Systematic Reviews in Dentistry," "Fundamentals of Systematic Reviews in Health," and "Biostatistics with Almost No Formulas." He is responsible for the "Canal Pesquise," which primarily aims to disseminate videos on Research Methodologies and Statistics on YouTube and other social media platforms. He is a Productivity Research Fellow of CNPq - Level 2, and his scientific production is mainly based on his primary research area: Dental Erosion.
