Graduated in Physiotherapy from the Federal University of São Carlos (2000), holds a master's and doctoral degree in Physiological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), and completed postdoctoral studies at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of São Paulo and the University of Michigan (MI, USA). The main areas of expertise include muscular plasticity (in vivo and in vitro), molecular biology, inflammation and tissue repair, photobiomodulation, and applied physiotherapy in rheumatology, dermato-functional, gynecology, and obstetrics. Currently she is a Principal Investigatos in the Master's and Ph.D. Programs in Rehabilitation Sciences and Master's and Ph.D. Programs in Biophotonic Medicine. She is a researcher and teaches courses such as Morphofunctional Bases and Scientific, Technological, and Innovation Knowledge, in addition to supervising undergraduate students in scientific initiation courses at the School of Medicine of Nove de Julho University (UNINOVE).
