With +300 articles in journals and conferences, she has interacted with +630 collaborators. Editorial board member of SASBE Journal (2012-13), Municipal Engineer (2013-2020) and PARC (2020-). Reviewer of national and international journals, and member of the organizing and scientific committees of renowned conferences such as the World (Tokyo 05 - Beyond2020) and the regionals (2004-2022) sustainable built environments (SBE) series. Has collaborated with prestigious research and higher education institutions nationally and abroad, including the International Council for Research & Innovation in Building & Construction and as a scholar at Harvard University. Regional coordinator (Americas) of the W116 Commission - Smart and Sustainable Built Environments, of the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB), and ad hoc advisor to the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) on life cycle assessment and policies for energy efficiency in the built environment; and to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), on strategic environmental assessment. Experience in development and innovation management. Coordinates in BR the NANOPOL/MERANET project for innovative nanomaterial for insulation with high functional and environmental performance, with CellMat Technologies, from Spain, and NTNU from Taiwan, funded by FAPESP (2021-). Participated in International Cooperations with the Univ. of Pittsburgh, Swanson School of Engineering, with emphasis on sustainable product development (2006-2010) and IGERT, in Sustainable Construction and Sustainable Water Use (2005/12); with the Groupe des Ecoles des Mines of France (GEM), by NEXES, in the recycling of steel mill waste (2006). The CNPq research group "NEXES - Núcleo de Excelência em Escórias Siderúrgicas", of which she is co-leader, received the Ecology Award 2005 for the development of low environmental impact construction products, with seven pending patent applications.
