Graduated in Zootechnics, FCAVJ, Jaboticabal Campus at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1985), Master in Zootechnics at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1989), PhD in Animal Science at Federal University of Minas Gerais (1993) , Postdoctoral from the University of Georgia UGA / Athens / USA (1997-1999) and Postdoctoral from the University of California, Davis (UC Davis / USA (2019-2020). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Araçatuba He has experience in the area of Zootechnics, with an emphasis on Animal Nutritional Requirements, acting mainly on the following themes: animal nutrition, non-linear feed formulation (PPFR: https://sites.google.com/site/ppfrparaexcel2007ousuperior/), modeling worksheets ( PPM; https://sites.google.com/site/programapraticodemodelagem/; PPFM: https://sites.google.com/view/ppfm-spreadsheet/) and optimization (PPO: https://sites.google.com/site/ppoprogramforoptimization).
