She is currently Professor at the Institute of Geosciences-USP, Department of Environmental and Sedimentary Geology. She has experience in paleozoology, acting on the following topics: brachiopod, cnidaria, Conulatae, trilobite, ontogeny, phylogenetic systematics, biostratigraphy, taphonomy, paleontology of the Precambrian.
