Driverless vehicle may be a reality in 20 years

Published in May 02, 2014 - Pesquisa FAPESP. For now, the efforts are still in the realm of research, especially in universities, some representatives of the automotive industry and at Google, which also maintains an experimental project. In Brazil, a common car at the University of São Paulo (USP) was the first autonomous vehicle authorized to travel in a city’s streets.
