graduated in Biology, Mackenzie University (1992), master's (1998) and doctor degree (2004) in Ecology at University of São Paulo. Has experience in Botany, with emphasis in Phytochemistry. The main research areas are: studies of biotic (parasitic plants, pathogens) and abiotic (ozone, elevated CO2, water) stress factor on native plants of Brazil; natural products chemistry and the biological in vitro activity of secondary metabolites.
