Masters and PhD degrees from Unesp in 1994 and 2000, respectively. Two years postdoctoral fellowship (2002-2004) in experimental heart failure at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard University, Boston. Associate professor of cardiology at Botucatu Medical School, Unesp (2011-2019) and full professor since 2019. Current chief of cardiology.
