CV Lattes ResearcherID ORCID

Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de Ilha Solteira. Faculdade de Engenharia (FEIS)  (Institutional affiliation for the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduate in Biological Sciences - L.P., at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2000), MSc. in Physiology and Plant Biochemistry at the University of São Paulo (2003), PhD in Plant Biology (Plant Physiology) at the State University of Campinas (2007) and 'Livre Docente' in Plant Physiology Physiology at Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP ( 2018). She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Unesp / Ilha Solteira, where she leads the research group in Phytoremediation, working mainly on the following topics: Nitrogen metabolism, focusing on the tolerance of the symbiotic system to the presence of mineral nitrogen; Growth, tolerance and potential of tropical legume use in phytoremediation of soils contaminated with Mn, B, Cu, Fe and Pb; Plant responses to abiotic stresses, focusing on species of the Cerrado biome. She is one of the responsible for the implementation of the Nucleus of Support and Discussion of Gender and Sexuality - NUGENS, focused on the themes of deconstruction of gender stereotypes and prevention of gender violence, developing teaching and extension projects aimed at combating physical violence and psychological as a result of gender and sexuality; and the valorization of female protagonism in order to motivate girls and women to become involved with the sciences, breaking with stereotypes resulting from the structural machismo of our society.
