The researcher has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2000), a Master in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2002) and a PhD in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Lisbon (Portugal) (2007). She worked as a researcher at NANOCORE Biotecnologia LTDA (Campinas, SP) in a project aiming at the process development of a gene vaccine for veterinary application, from January to December 2008. From 2009 to 2016, she worked as a researcher at the Brazillian Bioethanol Science and Technology Laboratory (CTBE/CNPEM), currently LNBR / CNPEM, having coordinated the Bioprocess Facility for 2 years (2014 to 2016). In 2017, she conducted research in the area of metabolic engineering of thermophilic bacteria at Dartmouth College (USA) as a visiting researcher financed by FAPESP. From 2018 to 2019, she held a post doc in the area of Bioenergy at UNICAMP. The researcher has a strong scientific activity in the field of industrial biotechnology applied to the production of biofuels and biorefineries. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
