He has a degree in Medicine (1995), specialization in Pathology (1998), Masters (2001) and Doctorate (2002) in Human Pathology by the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto of the University of São Paulo (FMRP / USP). He has a postdoctoral degree from Stanford University, California, USA (2007). Since 2004, he has been teaching at the Department of Pathology at FMRP / USP. He is the current Deputy Chief of the Department of Pathology and Legal Medicine of FMRP / USP. He works in the area of pathology, with emphasis on oncological pathology. He studies several types of cancer, including breast cancer, gynecological cancer, head and neck cancer (including salivary gland tumors) and prostate cancer. He has extensive experience with immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
