MARIA VITÓRIA LOPES BADRA BENTLEY is a pharmacist, got her PhD in Drugs and Medicines at the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1994 and completed a post-doctorate at the University of Manchester, UK (1995-1996). She is currently a full professor at USP. He has published about 155 articles in specialized journals that have about H-factor of 32 (ISI), 35 (SCORPUS) and 38 (Google scholar) and about 2996 citations in ISI. It has 4 registered technological products and 9 other items of technical production. His research #8203;#8203;interest is Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology with a special approach in the development of multifunctional nanocarriers for the delivery of drugs in / through the skin for topical therapy of various skin diseases and for cosmetics. In this regard, his most recent line of research is focused on antisense gene therapy employing siRNA for the gene silencing of different targets responsible for the development of skin diseases such as skin cancer, vitiligo, psoriasis, etc. She is the supervisor of the Graduate Programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences at FCFRP-USP (Concept 7) and in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology. He received 28 awards and / or honors, with special highlight to the Capes Thesis Award in the Pharmacy Area in 2006, the Honorable Mention Capes Thesis Award in the Pharmacy Area in 2017 and the Natura Campus Technological Innovation Award in 2010. He received a certificate in 2007 and honor by foreign publisher Elsevier for the highest number of citations of scientific work published in the European Journal of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics (v. 60, n. 1, p. 25-30, 2005). She was supervisor of the AAPS Student Chapter at USP, a pharmacy student association linked to the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), USA. She was a member of the central nucleus of the CNPq / MCT Nanocosmetic Network. She coordinated the Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology Network of INCT - Pharmaceutical Innovation and also the Pharmaceutical Nanobiotechnology Research Network Applied to Antisense Therapy (siRNA and microRNA) with the CNPq Edital - call n 47/2013 MCTI / CNPq / CT-SAÚDE / CT-BIOTECNOLOGIA / MS / SCTIE / DECIT - New Therapies Bearing the Future. She was Director of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - USP (2014-2018) and was Chairman of the USP Campus Management Board of Ribeirão Preto in 2016. She was a full member of CA-FARMÁCIA at CNPq for the period from 01/2009 to 12 / 2011 and is currently a member of this CA since 2019. Currently coordinates the INCT- Nanotecnologia Farmacêutica, which received financial resources from CNPq, Capes and Fapesp. She is vice-coordinator of SisNANO-USP in the framework of the SisNANO 2.0 Program. She is Deputy Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the University of São Paulo since 2018. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
