Graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Franca (1998). In 2001, he completed his MSc in Chemistry at the University of São Paulo, in the field of Chemistry of Natural Products. His PhD in the field of mass spectrometry was obtained in 2005 from the University of São Paulo. From 2008 to 2012, he coordinated a Young Research Project in Emerging Centers funded by FAPESP, in the field of Chemistry of Natural Products, at the University of Franca. He held a short postdoctoral internship from 2011 to 2012 in the field of Organic Synthesis at FFCLRP-USP. He was a professor and research at the Natural Products Research Group at the University of Franca from 2005 to 2013. In 2013, he started his activities as an assistant professor at the Department of Chemistry at FFCLRP-USP. From August 2018 to June 2019, he served as a visiting research (sabbatical internship) at the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. In 2020, he got an associate professor position at the Department of Chemistry at FFCLRP-RP. He has experience in the fields of Natural Product Chemistry, Mass Spectrometry and Organic Chemistry.
