Caio Jordão Teixeira is Bachelor´s in Biological Sciences at the State University of Maringa (UEM) (2011). In 2014, he completed the Master's Degree in Human Physiology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Sao Paulo (ICB-USP), in the Intracellular Signaling Laboratory. In 2019, he completed his doctorate in Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at State University of Campinas (FCM/UNICAMP), in the Laboratory of Pathophysiology and Pharmacology of Diabetes mellitus. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Molecular Biology Laboratory of Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB/USP), with an ongoing postdoctoral internship abroad at the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute (IUCPQ-UL). He conducted research on topics related to menopause, insulin resistance, aging, pregnancy, lactation, pancreatic islets and obesity.
