Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, MG, in 1999. Master's and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, SP, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. Ph.D. Sandwich Abroad at the Università degli Studi di Pavia, Italy, in 2004. Post-Doctorate in Physical Chemistry at the Electroactive Materials Laboratory at IQ/USP from 2005 to 2006, including a post-doctoral internship at the Jean Rouxel Institute of Materials, France. Visiting Professor at the University of Missouri, Columbia, USA, in 2014 and during 2023-2024. He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of ABC and a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (Level 1-B). His research interests include Polymer Nanocomposites and Materials Science, Colloids, Self-Assembly of Peptides and Proteins, Electronic Devices, and Biosensors.
