Humberto Rocha is Full Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences/IAG/University of São Paulo, Bsc in Civil-Aeronautical Engineering (ITA 1988), MSc (INPE 1992) and DSc (USP 1998) in Meteorology. His expertise is in Hydroclimatology, Hydrometeorological instrumentation, and Biosphere-Atmosphere Interactions. He coordinates the Climate and Biosphere Lab at IAG/USP, and works with computational atmospheric models, rainfall-runoff models and plant productivity models, and has run field observatories with flux tower and hydrological gauges in forest, crops, and urban areas in Amazonia, Cerrado and Atlantic forest biomes. He was a participant of Brasil-UK ABRACOS Project 1990, LBA Experiment (2000-2010), Biota Fapesp and Fapesp Climate Change program. Member of the Coordination Commitee of FAPESP Climate Change Program 2012-2022 .Representative of Latin America at World Meteorological Organization/Commission for Agricultural Meteorology/Flux Measurements for Agriculture. Coordinator of the Centre of Science for Development for Water and Food Security in Critical Zones. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
