He is currently a collaborating researcher at the Department of Biodiversity at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Rio Claro and at the Laboratório de Coleções Zoológicas, Instituto Butantan (IBSP). He completed his postdoctoral studies at Instituto Butantan between 2012 and 2015. He obtained a Doctorate (2011) and a Master's degree (2007) in Animal Biology (Zoology) at the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), maintaining part of the works in the Instituto Butantan. He carried out the Professional Improvement in Synanthropic Arachnids at IBSP (2003). He holds a postgraduate degree in Environmental Planning and Natural Resource Management from the University of Santo Amaro (UNISA) (2002). Graduation in Biological Sciences from UNISA (2000) - Full Licentiate and Bachelor's Degree. He has experience in Zoology, working on the following subjects: Taxonomy, phylogeny, morphology, spider biology (mainly Mygalomorphae) and diversity of soil and synanthropic spiders.
