Odila Cioffi is graduated in Chemical Engineering from the School of Engineering of Lorena EEL-USP (1992). Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho UNESP (1996), and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho and the University of Naples "Federico II" (2001). She is currently a full Professor at the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho on the Guaratinguetá campus and has been an assessor to the undergraduate dean studies. She has experience in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, particularly in developing composites for aeronautical application and natural composites for secondary applications, in the lines: RTM processing, fatigue behavior, dynamic mechanical analysis, C-Scan ultrasound. In 2020 he was a visiting professor at the Composite Materials Center at the University of Delaware (CCM / UDEL), where he worked with micro-encapsulated self-repair material for composites.
