Develops research on Green Chemistry, especially in the following themes: supercritical fluids and alternative solvents, new surfactants from renewable raw materials, detoxification of persistent organic pollutants and optimization of chemical and petroleum refining processes (these last two items in partnership with the Center for Chemical Systems CESQ of the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo).Researcher at RCGI - Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Innovation (CEPID FAPESP-SHELL), where he coordinates and participates in research projects related to CO2 abatement and conversion.Develops research, divulgation and teaching in Chemical Safety, specially in those areas related to teaching and research laboratories in universities and research centers.
