Dr Luciane Gargaglioni holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto / USP (1994), master's degree in Physiology from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (1998), Ph.D. Sandwich - University of British Columbia (2000, Canada) and PhD in Physiology, University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto Medical School (2002). She has a postdoctoral degree at the University of Calgary (Canada) and the Center national de la recherche scientifique (France). She is currently adjunct professor at FCAV / Unesp. She has experience in Physiology, focusing on Respiratory Physiology and Comparative Physiology, acting on the following subjects: hypoxia, hypercapnia, sexual dimorphism, prenatal stress, ventilation, thermoregulation, locus coeruleus, serotonin, development.
