Obtained a Barchelor of Science in Engenharia Agronômica from the University of São Paulo (1990), Master of Science in Physiology of Lactation from Michigan State University (1994; advisor: Dr. H. Allen Tucker) and PhD in Physiology of Reproduction from the University of Florida (1999; advisor: Dr. William W. Thatcher). Obtained post-doctoral training at the Université de Montréal (2009; supervisor: Dr. Bruce D. Murphy). Currently Associate Professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo. Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Animal Reproduction at the University of São Paulo. Principal Investigator at the Laboratory of Physiology and Molecular Endocrinology. Research focus in endocrine, cellular and molecular mechanisms controlling reproductive processes, with emphasis in ruminant pre-implantation uterine biology and strategies to increase conception rates.
