Leader for aquaculture development in USP (http://www.iea.usp.br/eventos/aquicultura-desafios-e-oportunidades-na-revolucao-azul-brasileira, projects in SPEC and NPOP FAPESP research programs), member of the specialist panel Use of Resouces at FAO Global Conference on Aquaculture (2010). Member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Applied Aquaculture (Taylor & Francis) and Reviews in Aquaculture (Wiley). Professional and academic work in more than fifteen countries including Chile, Equador, Mexico, United States, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden, China and Australia.
