Associate Professor at State University of São Paulo (UNESP/Botucatu) and Head of the Department of Zoology (Biosciences Institute) between 2010 and 2014. Referee for Brazilian research agencies (Fapesp, CNPq, CAPES) and for national and international scientific publications - books and journals. Consultant of Ministry of Environment and of programs of environmental licensing and management for public and private enterprises. Brazilian focal point in international project on transboundary hydric resources of La Plata basin countries. Member of the editorial board of the Brazilian Journal of Biology. Director of Limnética Consultoria em Recursos Hídricos Ltda.
