bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Mackenzie University (1992), a master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (1996) and a doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (2000). Currently is a full professor at the Federal University of São Paulo UNIFESP-Campus Diadema. Coordinate the Postgraduate Program in Chemical Biology. Since 2023, has participated in the CEPID-ARIES on microbial resistance, contributing to the prospecting of new antimicrobial agents. Has been a member of the ResNet NPND (Universität Münster - Germany) research network on neglected diseases since 2020. Has experience in the field of Chemistry, with an emphasis on Chemistry of Natural Products, working mainly on the following topics: Bioprospecting of plants and their associated endophytic fungi, through of a metabolomic approach using UHPLC-HRMSMS techniques associated with molecular networks for the isolation of bioactive secondary metabolites in models of antiparasitic, antitumor and antimicrobial activity in addition to basidiomycete fungi and polysaccharides with immunomodulatory activity. Integration of metabolomics and genomics to identify biosynthetic gene clusters of bioactive metabolites. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
