The researcher is Associate Professor level 3 (MS 5.3) at the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry (IQSC) at the University of São Paulo (USP). In the area of #8203;#8203;research, he has experience in training specialized human resources at different levels (scientific initiation, master's, doctoral and post-doctoral) and has experience in coordinating research projects financed by different funding agencies, with emphasis on the coordination of FAPESP thematic project and participation in the Steering Committee of an INCT (CNPq/FAPESP/Capes). It presents academic insertion with the participation in different commissions and institutional collegiate bodies. He coordinates IQSC's Electrochemical and Environmental Processes Group (GPEA). He works on the following research topics: environmental electrochemistry, applied electrochemistry, electrocatalysts, gas diffusion electrodes, hydrogen peroxide electrogeneration, electrochemical treatment of effluents, electrochemical reactors, advanced electrochemical oxidative processes (AEOP) associated with effluent treatment.
